 Through Social Media Optimization (SMO) Plug in to your local Chamber of Commerce for networking events and contacts. You can meet new clients and business mentors through luncheons, conferences, or seminars. Participate in chat forums where potential clients hang out. I find LinkedIn an excellent resource for that with heaps of discussion forums
